Hello! And welcome to the professional homepage of Nicholas R Anderson. I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. There I work in the lab of Prof. Dan Hammer, studying the biophysical basis of the leukocyte adhesion cascade, specifically how it affects the migration of CD4+ T cells. I also help out generally around the lab by fixing equipment and managing supplies and purchasing. Although I do love to talk about my work, it is certainly not the only thing about me!
In my spare time, I love to try out new recipes (with my friends and family often being the guinea pigs). I also enjoy camping and backpacking, although I have not done much of either recently due to limited free time. My friends and I often play ultimate frisbee in recreational leagues and while I may be not that good at it, I give it my all and improve a little bit every time we play.
Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions you may have about my manuscripts. I can be reached through email at my nickname (nick) followed by an at sign (@) and the domain of my page (nranderson.com). Additional information about education and papers can be found using my ORCID, although I ask you to contact me directly for the ID number. I look forward to hearing from you!
